The next call for the Cybersecurity Working Group will be on Thursday June 26 at 3 pm ET. Monsurat Ottun from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will discuss current threats to the financial industry.

FIF Submits Proposed Rule 606(a) FAQs to the SEC

At the suggestion of SEC representatives, FIF submitted to the SEC on June 12 proposed FAQs for Rule 606(a) reporting for the scenario where a reporting firm routes child orders for a single parent order to multiple venues. FIF would like to thank the members of the Rule 606 Working Group for their contributions in the drafting of the proposed FAQs.

OFR Repo Reporting Working Group

FIF has scheduled a call for the OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for Monday June 16 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will discuss a draft letter to the OFR relating to the reporting of repos where the closing leg does not settle on the scheduled end date.

Short Position Reporting

FIF has scheduled the next call for the Short Sales / Reg SHO / Short Reporting Working Group for Monday June 16 at 11:30 am ET. The Working Group will discuss the current status on the implementation of Form SHO reporting.
