Rule 605 Working Group

The Rule 605 Working Group will have its next call on Monday February 23 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of a draft letter to the SEC relating to implementation of the Rule 605 amendments, including reporting for different order types and orders with different characteristics.

The Front Office Committee will have its next call on Tuesday February 24 at 11 am ET to review applicable updates and notices from the SEC, FINRA, FINRA CAT and the equity and option exchanges.

The Data & Technology Committee will have its next call on Wednesday February 25 at 10 am ET to review capacity, latency and volume data for the prior month for the equity, options, currency, crypto and futures markets. The spotlight presenter will be Joe Gostomski of SIAC, who will provide an update on OPRA Dynamic Rebalancing.

CAT Transaction Reporting and CAIS Working Groups

FIF has scheduled a joint call for the CAT Transaction Reporting and CAIS Working Groups for Wednesday February 25 at 2 pm ET. The Working Groups will continue their discussion of proposals to reduce CAT operating costs. The Working Groups will also discuss CAT changes required to address the expansion of exchange trading hours.

New Trump Accounts Working Group

At the request of an FIF member, FIF has created a new Trump Accounts Working Group. This Working Group will provide a forum for FIF members to discuss technical and operational issues relating to the creation and maintenance of Trump Accounts, including the account transfer process. The first call for this Working Group has been scheduled for Thursday February 26 at 2 pm ET.
