FIF has scheduled three joint calls for the CAT Transaction Reporting and CAT Reference Database Working Groups for this week. The first call will be on Tuesday May 26 at 3 pm ET; the second call will be on Wednesday May 27 at 2 pm ET; the third call will be on Thursday May 28 at 11 am. The Working Groups will continue their discussion of a draft FIF comment letter on the CAT Concept Release. The Working Groups will also discuss the deletion of CAT data after three years and an FIF member survey on CAT and EBS costs.

The Data & Technology Committee will have its next call on Wednesday May 27 at 10 am ET to review capacity, latency and volume data for the prior month for the equity, options, currency, crypto and futures markets.

The next call for the 24x7 Trading Working Group will be on Wednesday May 27 at 11 am ET. The Working Group will (i) discuss recent updates from DTCC, FINRA and the CTA Plan relating to the planned expansion of exchange trading hours, and (ii) continue its discussion of a draft FIF letter to the SEC and FINRA on implementation issues relating to the planned expansion of exchange trading hours. 

FIF has scheduled the next call for the Short Sales / Reg SHO / Short Reporting Working Group for Thursday May 28 at 1 pm ET. The Working Group will continue its discussion of a draft FIF comment letter on the rule filing by FINRA to amend short interest reporting (FINRA Rule 4560; proposed FINRA Rule 4321).
