On March 9 FIF submitted a comment letter on the recent rule proposal by the Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research (OFR) to require daily reporting for repos that are executed bilaterally and not centrally-cleared. FIF would like to thank the members of the newly-formed OFR Repo Reporting Working Group for their participation in the drafting of this comment letter.

FIF has invited members of the SEC Equity Market Proposals Working Group to participate on this call.

FIF has scheduled the next call for the TRACE/Fixed Income Working Group for Tuesday March 14 at 2 pm ET. The Working Group will discuss recent TRACE FAQ updates by FINRA relating to reporting the portfolio trade modifier and TRACE reporting for foreign sovereign bonds. The Working Group also will discuss questions from FIF members relating to TRACE reporting for Reg S transactions and currency conversion for TRACE reporting.
