FIF Event: Symbology Symposium II

FIF Event: Symbology Symposium II
Tuesday, May 20, 2008 - Meeting & Reception
Sponsored by: BluePhoenix Solutions
Ritz Carlton, 50 Central Park South, New York, NY 10019

Symbology has never been more pertinent or compelling for our industry than it is right now. Many changes are taking place in this area:

  • Exchange Symbology Plans are before the SEC
  • Options Symbology Initiative implementation and testing plans have been published

The proposed changes to symbology will impact systems across the entire trade process and will therefore require significant resources on the part of industry participants.

The Financial Information Forum has been actively addressing the issues resulting from the proposed changes in symbology. Following on the success of the first FIF Symbology Symposium in 2007, this session is designed to give participants an opportunity to explore implementation options and address open issues. Join us in discussing these issues and considering how FIF can assist in industry implementation.
