FIF CAT Event Sponsored by Refinitiv

FIF is excited to announce our first in-person event since the beginning of the pandemic. On Thursday June 16th from 5-8pm ET, FIF will host a discussion focusing on CAT CAIS, overall CAT industry status and the way forward. Although CAIS production with the fundamental changes to account management has been deferred until the 4^th Quarter, CAIS certification has been scheduled for July 25^th and the regulators have provided notice that there will be interim reporting requirements. The speaking engagement will be split into two parts: Part 1 will be a fireside chat with Shelly Bohlin of FINRA CAT, Duer Meehan of FINRA CAT and Judy McDonald of SIG. Part 2 will be an open discussion with audience participants which will be led by FIF Advisory Chair, Tom Jordan. The event will take place at Refinitiv's offices at 28 Liberty Street (56th Floor), New York, NY 10005. Registration in the lobby begins at 4:15pm, the speaking engagement will be from 5-6:30 pm with refreshments and networking afterwards from 6:30-8pm.
